We are a privately owned New Zealand company established in 1980 by a group of professionals working in the health industry. The principals who founded the company then, and have been its backbone over 25 years of growth and development, are still actively involved in roles within the InterMed organization today. From January 2008 the Board has added significant commercial resource with the appointment of Nigel Arkell as independent Chairman.
Over the last 25 years we have earned the respect of the healthcare industry as a supplier of quality products and provider of professional services selling into both public and private hospitals and private clinics and to specialists, doctors, and surgeons.
The Directors' core philosophy was to take the skills acquired from their previous careers with healthcare multi-nationals and incorporate these in a more focused, flexible and responsive environment. The focus has always been on quality and service.
